Patchouli essential oil has a deep, earthy and woody scent with a musky richness. It can carry slightly sweet or balsamic undertones depending on how it’s distilled and aged.

Patchouli sits as a base note, which means it lingers in the air and holds a blend together. It adds depth and helps lighter oils last longer.

Diffuse
Add 3–5 drops to a diffuser to create a warm, grounding atmosphere.

Topical (diluted)
Mix 1–2 drops with 1 teaspoon of a carrier oil and apply to pulse points such as wrists or neck. For easier application to pulse points, use our DIY Roll On Kit.

Massage
Mix 2–3 drops with 1–2 teaspoons of a carrier oil and massage into shoulders or neck to help refresh and reset.

Skin routine
Mix 1 drop with a carrier oil and apply to areas of dull or uneven-looking skin.

Bath
Mix 2–3 drops with a carrier oil before adding to warm bathwater.
